[en] You can use colours to identify the status or reason for appointments in the appointment calendar. You can choose whether the status colour or the reason colour takes precedence in the calendar.
[en] Appointment status colours
[en] Appointment statuses have pre-defined colours that you cannot change. These colours help you track the stage of an appointment:
[en] Upcoming appointments: Appear in grey.
[en] Passed appointments: Appear in yellow.
[en] Confirmed appointments: Appear in grey with the word 'Confirmed'.
[en] Checked in: Appear in purple.
[en] Ongoing consultations: Appear in blue.
[en] Waiting for discharge / invoicing: Appear in teal.
[en] Discharged / invoice paid: Appear in green.
[en] No-show appointments: Appear in white if a cancellation reason is mapped to 'No show'.
[en] Appointment reasons and shift colours
[en] You can also assign colours to other elements to help distinguish appointments:
[en] Appointment reason types: To set a colour for an appointment reason type, go to Settings > Lists & Templates > Reasons. Select a reason and specify a colour.

[en] Prioritising colours in the calendar view
[en] Provet allows you to choose whether an appointment's status colour or its reason colour takes precedence in the calendar.
[en] To change this setting:
[en] Go to Settings > General > Clinic location > Scheduling & Calendar.
[en] Select or deselect the Swap appointment status and reason type colours checkbox.
[en] The reason colour takes precedence when the setting is enabled. The status colour takes precedence when the setting is disabled.
