[en] This article explains how to add and manage telephone numbers for clients in Provet. You can add one or multiple phone numbers when creating a new client, or add or edit existing numbers at any time.

[en] Add or Edit Telephone Numbers

[en] To add or edit a client's phone number:

  1. [en] Go to the client's details page.

  2. [en] Select the Edit button.

  3. [en] Scroll down to the bottom of this section. You will find previously added phone numbers here.

  4. [en] To add a new number, select + Phone.

  5. [en] Enter the telephone number and a description if needed (e.g., Dog Walker).

  6. [en] To edit an existing number, select the number field and make your changes.

  7. [en] To remove an unneeded number, select the Bin icon at the end of the line next to the phone number.

  8. [en] Select Save.

[en] Mandatory Country Code

[en] When adding a phone number in Provet, the country code is mandatory. You must add the country code in the format of +XX (e.g., +44 for the United Kingdom).

[en] Set a Default Communication Number

[en] You can designate a phone number as the default for communications:

  • [en] On the phone number line, select the checkbox to mark it as the default communication number.

  • [en] This number will then be automatically used when sending SMS messages or sending SMS reminders to the client.

[en] Locating Client Telephone Numbers

[en] You can find registered phone numbers for a client in several locations. For example here:

  • [en] Client Details Page: All registered phone numbers are available on the client's details page.

  • [en] Top of Client Page: The main number is displayed at the top of the client page, next to the client's name. Hover over the displayed number to see if other numbers are registered for the client. Select the displayed number to quickly send an SMS to the client.

  • [en] In Consultations: Within a consultation, all numbers are displayed in the box with the client name at the top of the page. Select the number to easily send an SMS. In the sticky header within a consultation, you can view the phone numbers by hovering over the Telephone icon.
