Provet has a new sidebar navigation. This article explains what has changed, what has moved, and where to find key items.
What's New in the Sidebar
The sidebar has two areas. At the top, direct links open with a single select:
Below a divider, the Workspace area groups related items. Select a group name to expand it:
You can collapse the sidebar to a compact icon view. Hover over the right edge of the sidebar until a resize icon appears, then select it. When collapsed, hover over an icon to see its label, keyboard shortcut, and any unread count. Select the resize icon again to expand the sidebar. |
What's Changed
Notifications, Tasks, and Conversations now each have their own dedicated page at the top of the sidebar, replacing the previous My Communications page.
Your account menu has moved to the bottom of the sidebar, showing your full name and avatar.
Reporting
Reporting groups Reports and Ask Provet together. Select Reporting in the sidebar, then select Reports for your financial and operational reports, or Ask Provet to ask questions about your clinic's data in plain language.
For more information, see Overview of Ask Provet.
Clinic Location Switcher
The clinic location switcher at the top of the sidebar now shows all your clinic locations in a single searchable list.
Note: we can do this - we just need to instruct the user how to do it/how to get there) - under clinic location switcher - click clinic name and then look for it. Even if you are one clinic, click on the button that ahs your clinic name in the top left corner of the screen. Then settings is there as an option.
Settings may also be reorganized as part of this update. If you can't find it where you expect, check the clinic location switcher at the top of the sidebar, or use Search to jump to it directly.
What Hasn't Changed
All menu items, keyboard shortcuts, and permissions remain the same. Only the layout and organization of the sidebar have changed.
