You can use the Provet mobile app to view and manage appointments. In the Provet mobile app, you can view appointments for a selected day, open appointment details, create and edit appointments, cancel appointments, mark appointments as no-show, and link or unlink related appointments.
If appointment information is updated elsewhere in Provet, the changes are also shown in the mobile app.
Requirements
To manage appointments in the Provet mobile app, the following conditions must be met:
The Enable mobile app setting must be enabled at the organization level.
Users must have the required permissions for the mobile app and appointments.
View appointments
Open the Provet mobile app and select the Appointments page (calendar icon) in the bottom navigation bar.
The Appointments page shows your appointments for the selected day. Use the date selector to switch days, choose Today or Tomorrow, or select another date from the calendar.
To refresh the appointment list manually, pull down on the page.
Open appointment details
Tap an appointment in the list to open the appointment details page.
On the appointment details page, you can review appointment information such as the date and time, veterinarian, status, client and patient, reason, duration, and notes.
If your organization has Clinical AI and the appointment is an active consultation, you can launch AI Scribe from the appointment details page. For more information, see Use AI Scribe in the Mobile App.
Create an appointment
Open the Appointments page.
Select the add button (plus icon).
Select the Appointment type.
Tap the edit button (pen icon) next to Client & Patients to search for a client. Once you have selected a client, select one or more patients.
Tap Update.
Select the Reason type and enter the Reason for visit.
Add the appointment date and time.
Select the Veterinarian.
Add Resources and a Ward if needed.
Add Appointment Note if needed. This is required if a client has not been selected.
If needed, tap the plus sign next to Linked Appointments to select a linked appointment. For more information, see Link appointments.
In the top right corner, tap Save to save the appointment. The appointment is created and the appointment details page opens.
Cancel an appointment
Open the appointment.
Select Cancel.
Select a cancellation reason.
Confirm the cancellation.
If the appointment has linked appointments, they are shown during the cancellation flow. Cancelled appointments cannot be edited in the Provet mobile app.
Edit an appointment
Open an appointment from the appointment list.
Select Edit.
Update the appointment details.
Tap Save.
You can edit details such as the appointment type, resources, ward, reason type, reason for visit, date, time, no-show status, appointment note, and linked appointments.
To mark an appointment as no-show, select No show or enable the No show option in edit mode, add notes if needed, and save your changes.
Link appointments
Create a new appointment or open an existing appointment in edit mode.
In the Linked Appointments section, select the add button (plus icon).
Use the available filters to find appointments. Filter options include Within month, Current month, Next month, All, and Custom.
Select the appointments you want to link.
Tap Save.
To remove a linked appointment, open the appointment in edit mode, remove the linked appointment in the Linked Appointments section, and save your changes.
