Super Search

Select Search in the navigation menu or use the keyboard shortcut Alt+S to open the search panel. Search is always available regardless of which page you are currently on.

Filters

When you open the search panel, filters appear at the top. Type your search text in the field and select the filter you want to use. If you do not select any filters, the search looks through all areas of the system.

  • Clients — finds clients by name, email address, or phone number

  • Patients — finds patients by name or patient ID

  • Items — finds items by name

  • Bundles — finds bundles by name. Bundles that are only used as sub-bundles inside another bundle are not included.

  • Discharge note templates — finds discharge note templates by name

  • Clinic location — depending on your organization's settings, the clinic location filter is either This clinic location or All clinic locations:

    • When This clinic location is selected, the search looks for matches only in the currently selected clinic location.

    • When All clinic locations is selected, the search looks for matches in all clinic locations.

  • Clinic location group — available if clinic location groups are in use. If only one clinic location group is used, the filter is This clinic location group. If there are several clinic location groups, the filter is Select clinic location group. The search looks for matches in the selected clinic location group.

Note: The search results limit is 80. If your search returns more results, not all results are shown. Try refining your search to limit the number of results, or use the client and patient search.

Recently Viewed Search Results

When you open the search panel without typing anything, your recently viewed pages are listed so you can access them directly. Recently viewed pages include client pages, patient pages, consultations, invoice pages, treatment estimates, laboratory referrals, and diagnostic imaging referrals.

Note: Recently viewed results are not available for administrator users.
