Importing wholesaler items from an an Excel may be the most suitable option for updating items if most of the items already exist in your item list or if you need to change the wholesaler for a lot of your items.
1. Export your current item list to an Excel file.
Go to Settings > Import & Export > Export.
Under Organization models, select the lists you want to export (for example, supplies or medicines).
Select Export selected data. An Excel file is downloaded.
2. Update the item data in the Excel file.
The exported Excel file includes all items from the selected lists with several columns containing the item data and settings. Make your changes to the sheet. For example, if you want to change the primary wholesaler of an item, change the number in the primary wholesaler column to match the one you want to use as the primary wholesaler. You can find wholesaler ID numbers in the ID column on the Inventory > Wholesalers page. Note that you then also need the correct item code from the new wholesaler. A list of item codes is provided by the wholesaler.
3. Import your changes to Provet.
Go to Settings > Import & Export > Import from file and import your changes.
