Overview of Clinic Profile Page and Patient Portal

This article describes the Patient Portal, which includes your Clinic Profile page, where clients can book appointments online. The Clinic Profile page uses an updated layout compared to the legacy online booking and offers a mobile-optimized design for an improved client experience.

Overview

The Patient Portal uses the same configuration and settings as the legacy online booking. Each clinic has its own Clinic Profile page with a unique URL.

  • The typical URL format is: my.provet.com/company-name/clinic-name

  • If you only have one clinic, the URL is simpler: my.provet.com/clinic-name

A client can create a Provet user account when making a booking, and later log in to the service by selecting Log in in the top-right corner of the page.

When logged in, clients can view their bookings, contact details, and pets. Depending on the clinic setting in Provet, clients can also cancel bookings through the My account section.

How to make the Patient Portal available to clients

To make the Patient Portal available to your clients, add the Clinic Profile page link to your website.

To find the link:

  1. Select Settings > General > Clinic location > Online booking settings

  2. Select the Preview online booking button.

  3. Scroll down to Option A: Clinic profile page URL.
