Sometimes you may need to remove a vaccine that was incorrectly added to a patient's records. To void a vaccine:
Start by crediting the incorrect vaccine item. This step is important because it corrects any billing errors and makes sure your inventory is accurate. You will see a record of the credit in the patient's history.
Go to the Immunisation tab on the patient page. Find the vaccine you need to remove and select the pen icon to edit it.
In the edit dialogue, you will see how many doses of the vaccine are currently available. In the Set the item as void field, add the amount you want to set as void.
Select Save.
The vaccine is removed from the patient's vaccine history. If you go back to the patient History tab, you will see that the vaccine is no longer listed under the Latest Vaccinations and the entry shows as crossed out in the history.
