You can add notes to client records that are visible to staff members within Provet but are not included in client-facing documents, such as patient history print-outs. There are two ways to add these notes:

Add a Critical Client Note

Critical client notes save important client information that is always visible, for example, on the right side of a client card or at the top of a consultation page.

  1. Visit the Client page and select the Pen button next to Client Details.

  2. In the Critical notes field, enter your note.

  3. Select Save.

Add a Communication Note

You can add a communication note from the client details page. This option is suitable for longer texts, but the note is not as prominently displayed as a critical client note. To read a communication note, staff members must visit the Communication tab.

  1. Go to the client page.

  2. Select the Communication tab.

  3. Select the Add button.

  4. From the Type drop-down list, select the type of note you want to add.

  5. Important: If this note should not be included in a specific patient's history, clear the patient selection in the Patients field in the dialogue box.

  6. Select Save.
