Provet Pay Setup Process

This article provides an overview of the Provet Pay setup process, including the KYC process and the required information and documents. Before starting the KYC process, make sure you have your business details, bank details, and ID documents ready. See Required Information and Documents below. You cannot start processing payments until the KYC process has been fully approved.

Setup Steps

The setup process may vary slightly depending on your region, but generally includes the following steps:

  1. Meet with your onboarding specialist.

  2. Decide which features and terminals you need.

  3. Sign the agreement.

  4. Complete onboarding by providing your business details.

  5. Set up payment terminals (optional) — shipping, installation, and configuration.

  6. Complete final verification to confirm everything is working correctly.

KYC Process

Financial regulations and the Payment Card Industry require a Know Your Customer (KYC) process, including Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) requirements. Adyen administers the process, and Nordhealth is responsible for collecting the information.

You can start processing payments only after the KYC process has been fully approved.

Before you begin, make sure you have your business details, bank details, and ID documents ready. See Required Information and Documents below.

To access the KYC form in Provet:

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations > Provet Pay.

  2. Select Start Onboarding.

  3. Once selected, the button changes to Open management page. Select it to open the KYC form.

Note: You must have your VAT number set in Settings > General > Clinic location > Profile; otherwise, the Start Onboarding button will not appear.

If you exit the onboarding before completing it, or if something is not approved, you will be taken back to the same page the next time you log in. You can continue the process from where you left off.

Pricing Agreement

During onboarding, you will see a pricing agreement step. This step displays your rates in a table with a Rate type column. Hover over each row to see the disclaimer for that rate.

Select both checkboxes to confirm that you have reviewed and agreed to the rates, then select Continue.

If your rates do not match your agreement, contact pay.support@nordhealth.com.

Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBO)

Fill in personal details for all beneficial owners who own 25% or more of the business, and upload a valid photo ID.

The following information is required for each UBO:

  • Full name

  • Date of birth

  • Address

  • Valid photo ID — accepted documents are an ID card, passport, or driver's license

The name on the ID must match the registered name. If you have recently changed your name (for example, after marriage), your old ID will not be valid for KYC purposes.

For double-sided IDs (ID card or driver's license), photograph both sides and upload them as two separate documents.

For more information about photo ID requirements, see Adyen's documentation.
