The Booking capacity page in Provet provides a visual overview of staff appointment availability. You can see unfilled appointment slots and the percentage of scheduled time that is booked or still available. To open the page, go to Calendar > Booking capacity in the navigation menu.
The booking percentage is calculated as:
Booked time / Bookable time (shifts that allow appointments)
You can also book appointments directly from this view by clicking a free time slot. However, we recommend using the appointment calendar for a more detailed overview.
Booking Capacity Functions
On the Booking capacity page, you can:
View the availability of one or more staff members. The availability is shown as a percentage of booked time against scheduled time.
See each staff member’s individual booking percentage, as well as the overall booking percentage for the selected group and time frame.
Filter the view by week or month.
Understand the Calendar Visuals
The calendar view on the Booking capacity page uses different colours and symbols to help you interpret appointment availability.
Grey lines: Periods with no scheduled shifts.
Colored blocks: Booked appointments. The block colour matches the shift colour.
"+" symbol: Available time within a scheduled shift.
At the top right of the page, you can see the overall booking percentage for the selected staff and time period. Each staff member's individual booking percentage is shown next to their name on the left.
Check Your Booking Percentage
To check your booking percentage:
Go to Calendar > Booking capacity
Select your name from the staff member filter.
Your booking percentage for the selected time frame appears at the top right of the page.
Required Permissions
You need the ‘Booking capacity page’ user permissions to access the Booking capacity page. If you cannot see this option, contact your administrator.
