When the VetEnvoy microchip registration integration is used in your system, you can check from the patient's microchip icon whether a patient's microchip number has been registered to a microchip database. The microchip icon is shown in various places in Provet, for example, on the patient header row of the client and patient page, the appointment details dialogue, the dashboard, and the consultation page.

  • The microchip icon is red when a microchip number has not been saved for a patient.

  • The microchip icon is orange when a microchip number has been saved but not registered, or the registration has failed. The icon is also orange if the microchip number has not been checked for over a month.

  • The microchip icon is green when a microchip number has been registered successfully.
