You can use colors to identify the status or reason for appointments in the appointment calendar. You can choose whether the status color or the reason colour takes precedence in the calendar.
Appointment status colors
Appointment statuses have pre-defined colors that you cannot change. These colors help you track the stage of an appointment:
Upcoming appointments: Appear in grey.
Passed appointments: Appear in yellow.
Confirmed appointments: Appear in grey with the word 'Confirmed'.
Checked in: Appear in purple.
Ongoing consultations: Appear in blue.
Waiting for discharge / invoicing: Appear in teal.
Discharged / invoice paid: Appear in green.
No-show appointments: Appear in white if a cancellation reason is mapped to 'No show'.
Appointment reasons and shift colors
You can also assign colors to other elements to help distinguish appointments:
Appointment reason types: To set a color for an appointment reason type, go to Settings > Lists & Templates > Reasons. Select a reason and specify a color.
Shifts: You can set different colors for shifts to facilitate your clinic's workflow. To learn more, see Manage Shifts.
Prioritizing colors in the calendar view
Provet allows you to choose whether an appointment's status color or its reason color takes precedence in the calendar.
To change this setting:
Go to Settings > General > Clinic location > Scheduling & Calendar.
Select or deselect the Swap appointment status and reason type colors checkbox.
The reason color takes precedence when the setting is enabled. The status color takes precedence when the setting is disabled.
