How do I delete multiple automatically generated reminders?

You can delete multiple automatically generated reminders on the Records > Reminders page:

  1. Go to Records > Reminders.

  2. Select the reminder rows you want to delete in the list. The selected reminders are highlighted in blue.

  3. Select Delete in the a pop-up menu that appears at the bottom of the page.

Delete reminders for a single patient: If you need to delete the reminders for a specific patient only, you can do it on the patient's page on the Reminders tab.

Notes and tips:

  • Reminders are deleted permanently: Note that once reminders are deleted, they cannot be recovered. Always double-check the selected reminders before confirming the delete action.

  • Stop future reminders: To stop the automatic generation of reminders for future clients and patients, go to Settings > Lists & Templates > Reminders and delete the related automatic reminder rule. Regularly review your active reminder rules to ensure they align with your current needs.

  • Third-party integration: If you are using a third-party service to send reminders, check that the reminders are not already stored within that system. Depending on your integration configuration, deleting them in Provet may not prevent them from being sent by the third-party service.
