This article explains how to search for specific invoices in Provet using various filters. You can combine filter options to narrow your search and then export or print your results.
To find a specific invoice, go to Records > Invoices from the left-hand menu.
In the top search field, you can search by client name or client personal ID number.
For more search options, select the Extended search checkbox to reveal more filters.
In the extended search section, you will find the following search filters:
ID number: Search by the client's identification number.
Customer number: Search by the Provet client number.
Reference number: Search by invoice reference number (if used).
Paying client: Filter by the paying client.
Only with email found: Select this checkbox to display invoices only from clients with a registered email address on their client card.
Date lower limit and Date upper limit: Filter for drafts created or invoices finalized within this timeframe. Alternatively, use the Quick select drop-down list for pre-defined timeframes.
Invoice #: Search by invoice number.
Veterinarian: Search by the supervising veterinarian's name (for invoices connected to a consultation).
Consolidated invoice: Use the drop-down list to search for consolidated invoices.
Last modified by: Search by the user who last modified the invoice.
Payment type: Use the drop-down list to search for all available payment types.
Clinic location: Search for invoices created in one or multiple clinic locations.
Credit notes: Use the drop-down list to search for credit notes.
Due sum: Search for invoices with a specific due sum.
Invoice total: Search for invoices with a specific total sum.
Client type: Search for a specific client type.
Tags: Use the drop-down list to filter by invoice or client tags (multiple tags can be selected). If a tag exists as a client and invoice tag, this will be shown in the dropdown. Alternatively, select the Only without tags checkbox.
Sent lower limit and Sent upper limit: Filter for invoices sent within this timeframe. Alternatively, select the Only unsent checkbox.
Manage Search Results
Below the extended search filters, you can customize your search results:
Columns: Select the Columns button to choose which columns to display in your search results.
Marking invoices:
Select all: Mark all invoices in the search result.
Select all on page: Mark all invoices currently displayed on the page.
Deselect all: Unmark all selected invoices.
Actions: After marking invoices, use the Actions drop-down menu to:
Add tags
Remove tags
Create a consolidated invoice
Register payments
Finalize invoices
Send as email
Mark as sent
Export/Print: Export or print the list of search results.
Filter by Status and Type
To the right, in top of the search results, use the buttons to filter invoices by:
All invoices
Paid
Due
Consultation invoices
Counter Sale invoices
Draft invoices
Finalized invoices
Save Filters
To save your current filter settings for future use, select the Wrench button in the top right corner of the page.
