Why is the price of Provet changing?
We are moving to per-veterinarian pricing with unlimited users and simplifying packages so that more of what clinics use every day is included, with fewer add-ons to buy and manage. This aligns cost with clinical capacity (your veterinarians), gives your whole team access without shared logins, and reduces invoice complexity.
What am I getting in the new pricing structure?
Compared with the old “base + many add-ons” model, the Core, Pro, and Enterprise plans now include more features out of the box: scheduling, medical records, CRM, invoicing, tasks, updated reporting (coming in H1 2026), online and in-person payments, online booking and pre-registration, 2FA, customizable forms, open API (fair use), integrations (labs, imaging worklist, payments), e-signature, health plans, staff mobile app, and more.
You will also get a free monthly allowance to try our Clinical AI features. You only need to upgrade if you require more usage.

Can I switch between plans?
Yes. You can choose from the new plans based on the features and functionality you want to use at your practice.
How do I access the new 'add-ons'? (How can I activate new features based on my plan?)
New features will be available in your account automatically by 1 January, 2026. No action is required from you, although some features may need configuration once they are available. For additional questions, please reach out to .
If I have my card saved on file, will the new amount be automatically adjusted for me to pay the new charges?
Yes. On your first invoice after your effective date, the new per-veterinarian subscription amount will be applied automatically to your saved payment method. You will receive advance notice and can review the invoice before it is charged.
How are part-time vs full-time veterinarians counted?
We review each veterinarian’s activity during the 30 days leading up to the end of the month.
If a veterinarian was active for fewer than 10 days in that period, we count them as part-time for billing.
“Active” means any use of Provet, for example logging in, opening the dashboard or calendar, creating notes, etc.
If they were active on 10 days or more, we count them as full-time.
New vets: A user created fewer than 30 days before the end of the month is calculated using the same logic as above. Depending on the creation date and usage, the user may be counted as either full time or part time for the first month of billing.
What will the new invoice breakdown look like?

Invoice rows:
Subscription fees: Base Fee (1 per environment / not per clinic location/department) and Full-time and Part-time vet fees are invoiced for the upcoming month based on the situation at the end of previous month.
Transactional fees (SMS, PACS, telemedicine, e-invoices) are invoiced in arrears for the past month based on the actual quantities of services used.
In some rare cases, you may also see special add-ons charged separately, such as a database replication service.
Is there training available for these new features I now have access to?
Yes. All customers now have access to Provet Academy, our learning and onboarding platform that combines self-guided materials with detailed training to help users get the most out of Provet.
